This song (songs?) is so intriguing. It’s almost cold, yet still appears to remain strangely upbeat in places. Alta, the short intro track, focuses directly on Jess Weiss’ flawless, whimsical vocals, before launching seamlessly into Waterfall. Melodic, rhythmic guitar riffs cycle round, lacing together a brilliant taster for what’s to expect on the debut album, Loom, coming out in April. The vocal delivery is the real standout on these tracks though, the lyrics projected in such a vulnerable, haunting way.
